Hot, cold is the normal and necessary feeling of the body. However, if you feel your hands, feet, and body are always shivering or extreme cold, it is probably a warning sign of a health unrest that needs attention. If your hands and feet are always cold or you shiver even when the people around you are hot, it’s time to check up. Women are often colder than men, but there are other reasons such as lack of iron, poor circulation or diabetes. It may be signs of a serious disease, you need to go to the hospital for a timely detection.
When should you go to see a doctor?
Although cold feet are a common symptom, in some cases you need to see a doctor as soon as possible. This is when you have a cold leg with one of the following symptoms:
• Weight loss or unexplained weight gain
• Osteoarthritis pain is severe or affects life
• Skin color changes, such as erythema, scarring, or thinning of the skin
• Especially if you feel cold, but touching your skin is hot, which may be a sign of nerve damage that you need to see a doctor as quickly as possible.
